Perfumery: Immortelle oil is a pleasant base note with a lasting quality. The fragrance is warm with green notes of wood, spices, dried fruit, and herb. It is an interesting oil because it is made up of several layers of notes that appear to unfold as it evaporates. Perfumers use immortelle to give a flowery sweetness to fragrances.
