Formula:
CALMING NERVE TONIC
Valerian Valeriana officinalis: 1 ½ teaspoons
Skullcap Scutellaria lateriflora: 1 ½ teaspoons
Catnip Nepeta cataria: 1/2 teaspoon
A pinch of Cayenne pepper Capsicum annuum
Mix ingredients and prepare as standard infusion. Bring 1 ½ cups of water to a boil. Do not use an aluminum pot. Turn off the heat and pour the water over the herb. Cover the pot and let steep for 10 to 20 minutes. Strain the tea in a non-aluminum strainer. Use 4-6 tablespoons warm, 3-4 times a day and before bed. Store for no more than 24 hours in the refrigerator. Use as long as needed.
