SCHISANDRA BERRY DECOCTION:
Schisandra Schisandra chinensis berries: 1.5 grams
Water: 100 milliliters
Place the water into a stainless steel saucepan. Do not use aluminum. Lightly crush the berries with a mortar and pestle or blender and add them to water in the pot. Do not crush in advance, as vital constituents can be lost. Turn on the heat to medium. Simmer your decoction with the lid off until the volume of water is reduced by one quarter. Cool and strain. Sip on ¼ cup 3 times a day or add to your water bottle. Store for no more than 72 hours in the refrigerator.
