Plantain Leaf: Plantago major (L.), Plantago lanceolata (L.), Plantago spp.
Species may vary.
About Plantain Leaf: Plantain is native to most of Europe and northern and central Asia. It is also widespread throughout North America, New Zealand, and Australia. The roots, leaves, flower spikes, and seeds are all used in herbal preparations. The leaves of Plantago major are broad, oval, ribbed, and dark green with an astringent taste. There’s evidence to suggest plantain can support the immune system, liver, and urinary system in healthy adults.
