Bugleweed: Lycopus americanus (Muhl. ex W.Bartram)

Cautions and Contraindications
Bugleweed is contraindicated for use with thyroid enlargement, hypothyroid, and with simultaneous use of other thyroid-related products.
Since bugleweed may interfere with blood glucose levels, use of bugleweed with diabetes should be monitored closely.
Avoid bugleweed while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Formula:
BUGLEWEED TEA:
Bugleweed Lycopus americanus: 1 teaspoon
Filtered, boiling water: 1 cup
Pour the boiling water over the herb and leave it to steep for five to 10 minutes. Strain the tea and it is ready to drink.
