Oregano: Origanum vulgare (L.)
Why oregano? Aphrodite is said to have created the scent of oregano as a symbol of happiness. We can see why. Oregano aromatherapy essential oil’s sweet and spicy aroma and flavor is famed in Mediterranean cuisine. And the path to happiness is through the stomach, right? While oregano is not commonly used in perfumery, the essential oil does makes a wonderful addition to blends that support healthy and radiant skin.
Quality Assured: Our certified organic oregano essential oil is responsibly grown on an organic farm in Hungary. The essential oil is steam distilled from fresh, partly dried, above-ground parts of the herb. Our certified organic oregano essential oil contains 63% Carvacrol content. Every batch of oil is Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth and produced without the use of genetic engineering, artificial fertilizers, or pesticides. Additionally, our expert aromatherapists here at the Apothecary Shoppe personally assess all of our oils—using touch, taste, smell, and lab analyses—to ensure that your essential oil is suitable for use and entirely free of adulterants.
